Red Hook, Long Hammer IPA (6.2%)(4th of July Special)
Label makes me want to get involved in action activities.....this I like, but is it enough to make a great beer? That remains to be seen! The aroma is seriously pleasant, reminiscent of a floral garden in the lake valley's of Oregon. Good start, now for the first impressions in taste? Very understated, i fucking like this, it's deeee f'n lectable! For an average percentage beer, the taste remains consistently destinctive. I certainly could get (Red) Hooked on this bad boy. Probably the understated highlight of the day, strong, smooth, tasty and something drinkable upon Smith Rock or paddling the Deschuttes. Bob Law's final thought: treat yourself to this scrumptious solution.
