Bratislavský Bubák 12° (5.5%)
Lovely burnt, dark taste. Colouring as dark as a black hole, or that actor fellow Wesley Snipes. Price is cheap as chips, cheap chirpy chips. The service in the Mestianskeho micro-brewery, Bratislava, is delightful although a little disgruntled when I ordered in English. Similar in look and taste to Wrasslers XXXX this beer is big on taste. Smell is luxurious and lingers with sweet caramel aromas. It's a pleasure on the taste buds, chocolatey roasted goodness. The brewery itself has the overall feel of a faceless gastropub which is disappointing. Still, this dark beer is a highlight of Bratislava, along with the delightful free hardcore pornography in the hotel.....also recommended.
