Tooheys Extra Dry

Tooheys Extra Dry (5.0%) Nice, light, dry and wheaty. Not common here though and I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Not knocking it, its alright but New is better. Not offensive, but not overly arousing. Doesn't rock my world. Rating: Average at best/Reasonable Refreshment

Leireken Bio

Leireken Bio (5.2%) A bit weird if I'm frank, a bit mediciney. Calpol.com (not the 6+ but the 12+). The Doc Brown of beers. Gender confused beer, a trouble maker, home breaker. Hints of strawberry and fizzy fruits - vegetable-esque. A bit of fun but a one night stander. "Dinnerish." Rating: Average at best

Affligem

 Affligem (6.8%)

Does not leave a lasting impression. Uninspired - like the new seasons of the Simpsons. Bottles returned in Quebec get 10c, which is nice to know. Sharp at the back of the throat with each taste. Dissipates quickly. "Raspy," one is enough. Bob finds it hard to get into him. Shoddy.

Fizzy, watery aftertaste. Thats about it. Red in colour. Its alright, has potential but does not live up to it. Like Nick Cage in Leaving Las Vegas - only good when off his biscuit.

Doom Bar

 Doom Bar (4.3%)

Unimpressive bottle. This beer has a small head and is rather flat, with a dark colour and a fruity-ish smell. It's also smooth with a subtle hint of honey. Not much to say here really, it's a pleasant whistle wetter that one would not tire of easy. About it.
